Young Investigator Award Given to RIT Graduate Student


Anthony Salmin was presented the Gordon K. Moe Young Investigator Award for his work toward improving atrial fibrillation therapy.
Salmin presented his work on analyzing characteristics of electrocardiograms inside of the left atrium to better detect the source of atrial fibrillation. This fluctuation of the heart’s normal beat and rhythm can cause poor blood flow, stroke and complications from blood clots. To read more visit the full article at RIT's News Page.
